We want to create a hitting plan for everyone. Every hitter has to understand the "why" and "how" in order to improve. We want to use drills to improve mechanics and technology to improve your approach. Here at Marconi Baseball Academy we blend the "Old School" and the "New School" to offer the best hitting development possible. We are teaching hitters how to hit and NOT just swing. While we work off a set mechanical principles that we feel each good hitter needs to duplicate, every swing and every swing plan is different so "cookie cutting" each swing isn't the best way to get the most out of each hitter. A few (but certainly not all) of the areas of importance we focus on are: Increasing Batspeed, Increasing Power, Biomechanical Swing Plane Improvement, Power Output Through Body Awareness, Pitch Recognition Improvement, Teaching How to Hit Breaking Balls Better. These are a few of the hundreds of "points of development" we will touch on!
Our classes are 1 time per week and we try our best to group similar age players together. Our class size ranges from 4-10 players and we have 2-3 college/professional level instructors for each class. The ratio of player to coach is usually 3 to 1. This is a hugely effecient way to get more work in than a 30 minute individual lesson, save a little money on the parents side and have the players learn and compete against their peers!
Cost: $450 (10 week course)
